G10 Sheet
G10 is a very durable composite material that comes in a variety of sizes and bold vibrant colors and color combinations. It is made with glass fiber and epoxy which is compressed under extremely high pressure and heat cured to provide an extremely tough and durable material. It is available in sheet, rod and block form.
Fiberglass boards make excellent non-corrosive backing plates for high load deck hardware or bond to engine room bulkheads to hold mounting brackets. G10 boards are sold in 1/4 and 1/2 inch thickness.
G-10 is similar in strength and density to starboard, but because it is formed from epoxy resin, it bonds easily using most two-part epoxies.

FR-4 Glass Epoxy Laminate, often simply referred to as FR4, has become a popular material in various industries due to its excellent strength, durability, and flame resistance.
FR4, G10, and G11 are all common materials used in the electronics and industrial fields, particularly in the manufacture of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and insulation applications.
The density of FR4 material is approximately 1.85 g/cm³. This is an average value, and the exact density can vary slightly depending on the specifics of the FR4 formulation used.
